Tuna Cuisine Competition
The heart of the festival is the Tuna Cuisine Competition, the international gastronomy competition between chefs from all over the world. This year, for the first time in the history of the event, there will be 8 countries competing: Argentina, France, Japan, England, Italy, Lituania and Russia will propose original recipes with tuna as the main ingredient.
A technical jury will evaluate the dishes, with journalists and field experts – led by Enzo Vizzari, director and curator since 2001 of the guides of Espresso “I Ristoranti d’Italia” and “I Vini d’Italia” – beside a popular jury, consisting in visitors who after tasting the dishes will vote their favourite with numbered paddles. There will be 4 semifinals and 1 final challenge.
The tickets for the competitions will be available, until the seats run out, at the Pro loco of Carloforte in piazza Carlo Emanuele III. (semifinals: €15 / finals: €20).
